How to find the data type of variable in QTP

Vartype function can be used to find out the data type of a variable in QTP.

Dim mytype

mytype= VarType(400)          ' Returns 2.  means integer.
mytype= VarType(#11/19/62#)   ' Returns 7. means date .
mytype= VarType("VBshjhcript")   ' Returns 8. means string.

'TypeName can be used to find the readable data type in QTP

MType = TypeName("myVBScript")   ' Returns "String".
MType = TypeName(43)            ' Returns "Integer".
MType = TypeName(32.50)        ' Returns "Double".
