qrs stands for Quicktest recovery scenario file in QTP. In QTP, we can handle exceptions in test execution using recovery scenario manager. When you create a recovery scenario in QTP you must save it in .qrs file.

Just go to test settings and select recovery tab select the recovery scenario to be added to test in QTP.
